This flower impressed me so much this last summer, since I grow over 4,000 varieties that's saying something. I had to backtrack and see what it was that was causing such commotion. I had moved this plant to it's new home in the garden and it must have been thanking me.

Height 28" Mid to late, Dormant, Tet., 4.25" and fragrant. As bold as its name, this selection is bright orange with a large red eye and yellow-green throat. Tepals are dramatically recurved with nicely ruffled edges. Well branched and heavily budded. This one really stands out!
